Changing Luminaire Channel Assignment
There are several ways that you may change a luminaire's Channel assignment.
Change Channel command
- Click on the down-arrow next to the Change Channel button in the Luminaire Toolkit, or from the main menu bar, select Modify - Luminaire - Change Channel, and then select one of the choices listed: Single, Window, All, Polygon, or Within Entity.
- Single: With the pick box attached to the cursor, click on one or more luminaires, and then right click when you are done selecting.
- Window: Click two points defining opposite corners of a "window" the encompasses the luminaires you wish to select. Note: If the window includes any part of a luminaire's aiming line, iso-template, or Label information, that luminaire will be selected.
- All: Applies to all luminaires that are present (visible in Model Mode), including those that are Switched Off.
- Polygon: Click successive points to draw a polygon that encompasses the luminaires you wish to select. Note: If the polygon includes any part of a luminaire's aiming line, iso-template, or Label information, that luminaire will be selected.
- Within Entity: This option allows you to select all of the luminaires that are within the boundaries of a Room or Object that was created in AGi32. With your pick box, click on the wireframe of the Room or Object, and then right click or press Enter to confirm the selection.
- The Change Channel dialog will open. Click on the desired Channel and then click OK.
- The other fields in this dialog are also active; you may Enable/Disable, Switch On/Off, and/or change Dimming factor.
- You may only select from Channels that have already been defined; you may not create a new Channel from this dialog.
Notes:
- If the <Default> scene is active and there are no user-defined scenes define, "Scene_1" is automatically created and becomes the active scene.
