The Isolines tab displays Iso-Illuminance contours for the selected luminaire based on a user defined Mounting Height. You may also display the 1/2 Max candela contour and the maximum candela value location. The location of these items with respect to the longitudinal and transverse roadway lines dictate the IES classification of the luminaire.
Each Isoline contour may be drawn with a different color, if desired. The individual Isoline values may also be changed. Whenever a change is made, click the Replot button to update the graphic display.
1/2 Max Candela - This option maps the 1/2 maximum candela trace on the Isoline graph.
Max. Candela Pt. - This option marks the maximum candela points on the Isoline graph.
Iso-Illuminance Values - These selection boxes specify the values and color of each Isoline contour mapped on the Isoline graph. You may change the value and color of each Isoline, and add or remove Isolines as desired.
Mounting Height Basis - This setting specifies the luminaire mounting height that is used to generate the Iso-Illuminance contours. By default, a 10 foot MH is used.
Save Settings as Defaults - Click this button to apply the current Candela and Iso-Illuminance Settings as the System Defaults for this tool.
