Luminaire Image

You may use a graphic image imported into Photometric Toolbox to graphically represent your luminaire when printing output from the reporting tools. The image may be created in any graphics program (such as Corel Photo Paint™ or Paint Shop Pro™) as long as it is saved in a bitmap (BMP), JPEG (JPG) or Windows™ Metafile (WMF) format. The image will always maintain its original aspect ratio (the ratio of width to height) and will be scaled accordingly to fit within the confines of the image size.

Luminaire images should be symmetrical (i.e., equal height and width) for the best printed results.

Luminaire Images are printed at a maximum size of 2 x 2 inches and are always placed at the top right section of the first page of the output. We recommend using a 1024 x 1024 image size to produce the optimal printed resolution on most printers.

1. Import the luminaire image in one of two ways:
• To import a saved graphics file, click on the Import button. You will be presented with the 'Select Image File' dialog in order to browse for the graphics file. Select the file and click Ok to bring it into the Luminaire Image dialog.
• You may paste a bitmap image directly into the Luminaire Image dialog from the Windows™ clipboard. First, left click in the luminaire image section where an existing image is located (or in the blank space if empty). Then, right click to display the pop up menu and select Paste. Alternately, instead of selecting Paste from the pop up menu, you may press the CTRL+V keys (at the same time) on your keyboard to paste the image in.
2. Click Ok to save the current image as your Luminaire image.
