Plan view refers to a birds-eye view of the graphic display such that X coordinates increase from left to right and Y coordinate increase from bottom to top. Plan view does not refer to the area covered by the view. In other words, a Plan view may exist in any level of Zoom from square inches (or cm) to square miles (or km).
AGi32 always opens the default view and any new views in Plan. Once you begin working, you will inevitably change a view to Elevation or Isometric. Use the View-Plan command to return a particular view to Plan. The contents of the View are automatically Zoomed to Extents++ after the view is changed.
