Objects can be clustered together as a Group graphically using the Object_Group command in the model space, or by selecting the objects of interest in Project Manager and grouping fomr the right-click menu. Groups are handy for ease of movement, copying, disabling or editing. Once grouped, the selected objects will behave as a single entity as the entire group can be selected with a single click. Groups of objects do not have to be named (although they can be), AGi32 assigns a default name for you. Groups can be nested allowing several groups to be selected and included in the creation of another group. To "ungroup" the cluster of objects, use the Explode command. Nested groups will need to be exploded multiple times to get back to the initial primitives.
Groups can also be added to an object library to be stored for later use , or use in another job file.
