Edit Calculations Along A Line
The Edit Calculation Lines dialog looks similar to the original ‘Add’ calculation dialog, with a few differences.
You may change the label, description, point spacing, text size, meter type, labeling and display options, and summary.
You cannot add additional segments to an existing line, and you cannot change the number of lines in an array or create an array if it wasn't originally specified.
If you have removed points from the line(s) prior to editing, they will be replaced if you recreate the lines (change point spacing, meter type, or modify the current coordinate locations). Making simple cosmetic changes, such as changing text color or text size, will not result in the recreation of the lines and the removed points will not be replaced.
Light Meter: If the meter is Vertical, there are four choices for its orientation:
- Along: The meter is facing in the direction of first-to-second point as that segment was originally created.
- Opposite: The meter is facing in the direction of second-to-first point as that segment was originally created.
- Perpendicular (CW): The meter is rotated in a clockwise direction until it reaches a perpendicular orientation. If Perpendicular (CCW) is the current condition, selecting Perpendicular (CW) will flip the meter direction.
- Perpendicular (CCW): The meter is rotated in a counterclockwise direction until it reaches a perpendicular orientation. If Perpendicular (CW) is the current condition, selecting Perpendicular (CCW) will flip the meter direction.
