File In Use

The File In Use dialog appears when a user attempts to access an AGi32 file that is currently open or has not been closed normally by AGi32. When an AGi32 file is opened, an additional file named <FileName>-InUse.a3~ is created as well. This file is located in the same folder as the accessed job file and remains until the file is closed normally. This file prevents network users from accessing the same AGi32 file and accidentally overwriting each others changes.

If an AGi32 file does not close normally (e.g. in the case of a crash or power outage), this file remains behind. When the AGi32 file is reopened, the File In Use dialog appears in this case as well. You may reopen the file without any negative consequences, since you were the only one working on it.
