The IES Flood Report Tool provides statistics and metrics needed to evaluate a photometric file used in floodlighting applications. The IES Flood Report consists of five sections that can be viewed individually by clicking the mouse on the appropriate Tab across the top of the form.
Summary - This tab provides the luminaire descriptive keywords and photometric characteristics.
Candela Array - This tab lists the candela values for the various lateral and vertical angles found in the photometric file.
Lumen Array - This tab contains the zonal lumen summary for the luminaire.
Axial Display - This tab contains the coefficient of utilization table for the selected IES photometric file.
Isocandela - This tab displays a polar diagram indicating a two dimensional representation of the luminaire distribution.
Note: You may create
Flood Reports for Type C photometric files. Type C photometry is automatically
converted into Type B format for these reports without any manipulations
on the users part. However, the photometric file itself is not permanently
converted; it remains in its original format.
The conversion uses the following angles (both positive and negative) as
its minimum angle set: 0, 1, 3, 5, 7, 11,13, 15, 17, 19.5, 22.5, 25.5,
29, 33, 37.5, 42.5, 47.5, 55, 65, 75, 85, and 90.
